Trelawny Benefice really enjoyed the visit of The Leprosy Mission’s representative, Sophie to our Diocese. She preached at Lanreath, Lanteglos-by-Fowey and Lansallos Parish churches and her sermons were much appreciated. She both inspired us with news of the way The Leprosy Mission is making an enormous difference to many, and challenged us with a Gospel message.
In between the two morning services and the evening service she attended an Afternoon Tea & Table-Top Sale in Polruan which raised £240 for the Mission. Generous donations were also made at the three services.
Thank you Sophie, it was a long day for you but it was much appreciated. Sophie appreciated it too as she wrote to the Diocese International Committee: “What a busy day that was but such a wonderful experience with a warm welcome from each of the churches.”
