Harvest of the Sea Polruan

Harvest of the Sea Polruan

St Saviours Church Polruan celebrated Harvest of the Sea on the Polruan Old Coal Wharf on Sunday afternoon. Around 200 people gathered to share in the service which was led appropriately by the Polperro Fishermen’s Choir. The Trelawny Rector gave thanks for the wonderful harvest of fish we receive from the sea as well drawing the congregations attention to conservation of our waters. Thanks were given to the RNLI who do such a wonderful job in looking after those who find themselves in danger on the sea. The Rev spoke too of the importance of having a spiritual lifejacket in Jesus Christ who can ultimately rescue us all through his work on the cross.
